Job Summary:
The Court Reporter is responsible for efficiently and accurately transcribing legal proceedings, including court hearings, trials, depositions, and other related events. 4. Accurately transcribe spoken words into written form, ensuring proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
5. Edit and proofread transcripts for accuracy and completeness, making necessary corrections and revisions as required.
6. Provide certified copies of transcripts upon request by authorized parties.
7. Ensure the timely delivery of transcripts to relevant parties, such as judges, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
8. Collaborate with court staff, attorneys, and judges to clarify any unclear or inaudible portions of the recorded proceedings.
